I use crazybrowser which is just an IE wrapper and I've not seen any
crashes in months. Reinstall IE on the machine, windows update, see if that
fixes it. Also run chkdsk and flush the cache, make sure the cache is set
to some reasonable number like 10mb or less. (10mb of 4k files is a lot of
files)
