If you wouldn't mind tell me/us.  What is trunking?  I see that term 
used.   Scanners follow trunked conversations.
   
       I am not debating for one minute that Radio Stations are not granted a 
license to do what they are now doing.  I got an application for a commercial 
FM TV/RADIO station in just 2 days from the FCC.
  
       There is absolutly no debate that Radio and TV networks are allowed in 
the United States.   
  
       Why are trunked conversations necessary?
