Hello, Peter...
From the Squish documentation:
Following the flavour comes a list of one or more nodes. Squish
will search for normal-flavoured, uncompressed mail destined to
any of the specified nodes, and compress and flavour that mail
accordingly. For example, given the following command:
Send Crash 1:123/456
Squish would take all normal-flavoured packets for 123/456,
compress them using the default archiver, and send the compressed
mail archive to 123/456 using the crash flavour.
Note the repeated reference to "normal-flavoured." That's how I
have always found it to work. The only commands which operate on anything
but normal-flavoured mail are LEAVE, UNLEAVE, and CHANGE. This is mentioned
repeatedly in the documentation of each command.
The example you gave doesn't help, because I don't know what the DEFINEs do
and because I don't know how the mail is flavored by your message editor.
Regards,
Jerry Schwartz
