CM(> CM(>To: John Rickards CM(>JR> Recoil is kinda sharp due to size and small grip. I use a mix CM(>JR> of CM(>JR> hydra-shocks and silvertips and can keep them on the paper at CM(> what's hydra-shock?....I've heard of ' CM(>em but don't know what they do?...are they better than hollow points? CM(> I'm learnin' slowly but surely....thanks boyos CM(> -Los CM(>/ CM(>--- FMail/386 1.02 :387/490) Well, they have a post in the center of the hollow part of the bullet. From what I have seen, the post helps to expand the bullet when it hits a "meaty" part of the target. By "meaty", I mean a low bone content. It is revered as a hydro expansive round. I have impacted them into gel, and found a most impresive result. They are a good round, and do not lose to much of their original wieght. One thing I have to say though, they do tend to misfeed in a firearm that is not "setup" for their use. My 9mm used to feed them consistentaly, but my rifle could not! The load ramp seemed to catch the bullet and jam the thing! For all of that, in a handgun, they are superior to a lot of rounds for distance expansion. * SLMR 2.1a * Nothing is so smiple that it can't get screwed up. --- WFIDO 1.10c ---------------CM(> * Origin: The 4-Sale BBS 24CDRoms/Games/2 Lines (210)684-3332 * Origin: The Fix Or Repair Daily BBS, WWIV 4.24a, Carlsbad, CA!
