Yes, exactly. ..if you say it in the politely-form. Better would be here  
"Wo bist Du?", because in Fido the Du-form is preferred.

Is this the literal input you gave? Because the word "innen"
suggests that  
you used somewhere the word "in" or "within" or
something like that.

Anyway, I wouldn't tranlate that literally (as I wrote to Bj”rn, his  
version is more or less correct though)

We would more likely say something like "In welchem Land bist
Du?" -> "In  
what country are you?"
