Well, it's too late to answer these questions for this year, but, for
what it's worth, yes, it was the Village Renaissance Faire in
Wrightstown, and pretty much any garb is acceptable there, because the
faire is basically just a local fundraiser, with no serious attempt at
consistency. But they bring in Period Productions to provide storyline
actors and mass fighting, songs, and some games, and, although there is
no actual business relationship, more than half the cast of the NJ
Renaissance Kingdom, which my wife and I are in, sign up with Period
Productions to do this. Every year is different. Last year was "The
Sword in the Stone". The year before was "Ivanhoe". This year was
euhemerized Asgardians.

I have to say our fighting was a thing of beauty (at least as much as I
could see of it with my eyes bandaged all day). Our Thor was utterly in
the zone, and made fencing with a ten-pound sledgehammer look like an
insane ballet, fast, furious, and perfectly controlled. And our
Valkyrie costumes were sexy and practical at the same time, which is
more than the "Xena" costume ever was.

And my wife's "world's first Viking sitcom", "My Sister
Gertrude",
which she wrote and directed, was a hit, too.

Until "The Lost Tales", it'll do.
