I have no problems with people personalizing their positions. It's important
that people understand were we all come from.
I respect your position. We view it slightly differntly. But I accept your
position as something you have arrived at after careful consideration.
My position has been reached in a simular way. While I would much rather see
the wild fish be kept in the wild. But I can see the value of research and
speci preservation. It may be a necessary evil. Much as Zoo's are (in my
opinion).
My position is that Advanced Aquarists may have this obilgation. But newbie
(a rater dumb term used on the internet to mean Novice) might better keep
captive bred fish first. Then as they understand how to keep fish try to
keep the more easily kept natives.
Which gives you a burden my friend. You will have to work up a series of
articles on how we should keep these fish. Particuarly from as novice's
point of view.
