The Rules

Trying to argue echo rules versus echolist with a brick wall is circular,
thusly I am forced
to do this.

What is this:

A text file outlining the rules and the other particulars of this echo,
posted periodically to 
remind echo participants and a practice imbibed in by many a conference moderator.

The Brief particulars:

Echotag name: MATZDOBRE

 Description: General Flame Echo.

   Moderator: Ross Cassell

The Main Particulars:

While it is true that this echo is a "General Flame Echo",  to
"FLAME" someone is neither
a pre-requisite or a requirement, you may at your choosing decide to have
civil conversations 
if you so desire, the only thing that you need to know is that FLAMING is allowed.

Knowledge of the Sauer Chirnside Commision, a well knowm welfare fraud
junta, is a plus.

Familiarity of the A-10 Thunderbolt in 23 days marks you as a hero and authority!

Know anyone who thinks they are the Sysops Pet, talk about them here!

Did you spend Christmas in Cambodia, tell us about it!

Can you lift 700 pounds and perform trigonometry functions at the same
time, share it with
us now!

Seen any glowing meteors in our Great Lakes, describe it for us!

Are you all-knowing, tell us about it here!

This takes care of the subject matter, now the administrative things..

MATZDOBRE is a Fidonet echo, it is available for distribution in all 6 Zones.

Zone 1 - North America
Zone 2 - Europe & Middle East
Zone 3 - Oceania (NZ, OZ)
Zone 4 - Central & South America
Zone 5 - Africa
Zone 6 - Asia

This echo may not be gated to any other network (FTN, Internet or
otherwise) without prior 
moderator consent.

The rules of this echo are dictated by the conference moderator. 

The relationship this echo has to the "Echolist" is for database
purposes only, this means 
that this echo is identified inside the Echolist for purposes of
identifying the echoes name, 
description and moderator to the various Fidonet backbones who transport the echo.

Rules:

Profanity obviously allowed, remember tho, too much of it is not very
effective unless you 
want your opponent to know s/he "got to" you?

No threats of physical violence.

If what you may say is illegal, dont say it. 

Real names are preferred, for purposes of humor, sarcasm you may use a
handle if you can be 
identified in your sig lines.

Notes...

A.

I am not a policeman, nor am I the court system, anyone violating the rules
will be removed 
from this echo with or without prior warnings, beyond that your pursuit of
the offender is 
your business, leave Fidonet and/or myself out of it.

B.

Fidonet policy does not apply to this echo, except for its interaction with
other NODELISTED 
systems.

C.

As moderator I reserve the right to enforce the rules or not on a case by
case basis in 
addition to adding to them as needed.

Will be posted on the 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd of each month.
