JP :> I want to tell you, it was fancy indeed!!! As I'm
JP :>told, the Spanish go ALL OUT for their daughter's 15th
JP :>birthday - there's a huge Mass ..... then a reception that
JP :>lasts well into the night and maybe even into the next day
JP :>for them.
Wow! I've never heard of this before. Sure sounds like a whole lot of fun
for these kids!
JP :> The girl, Maria, was dressed almost like a bride -
JP :>sequiened white ball gown (right out of "Gone with the
JP :>Wind" type dress) ...... we had decorated up the carriage
JP :>with white and gold nylon and lace - pom-pom type things on
JP :>the spokes of the wheels ...... the ride to the church was
JP :>about 5-6 miles from their house ..... X trotted on just he
JP :>had been doing this all his life -- I was soooooo proud of
JP :>him!!
He is a real showman, isn't he! I'll bet he just loves all this stuff!
JP :>took Tuffy to help keep X quiet -- heck, we really didn't
JP :>need to, if X was any quieter, he'd have been dead
JP :>.
I think X has found his calling in life (g).
JP :> Anyway, I thought I'd let you know how his first job
JP :>went ...... we made some good contacts (a caterer and a
JP :>photographer who asked for our number).
You're on your way! Have you decided on a name for this little enterprise
yet? And, of course, you'll need a web site (g)! Congrats, Jean. You and
Buddy have done a wonderful job with this horse!!!! And I thought he'd make
a fine dressage horse...little did I know! He's really just a "party guy"!
Meg
