subject: Re: Teaching Conures to Talk

A Sun Conure is our second bird - a mutual Christmas gift between my wife
and myself. Suns are not known as the best talker in the world. He is
still quite young, so be patient. From what I have read, even African Greys
don't talk much (if at all) until they are over a year old. I don't really
expect Skipper to talk, but since he has some many other facets to his
personality, I really don't care. Even if he doesn't use words, he is still
able to communicate with us quite effectively - in his own way.
