I absolutely agree.
What's so funny about my case, and that of my older sister, is that I am
absolutely textbook classic ADHD. Disruptive, out of control, flighty, always
in motion, a prankster, always mentally "elsewhere", and even more than a
touch oppositional.****
Or at least I was as a child. I'd sure *like* to think that I'm not all that
bad today! Still, I ended up being labeled "disturbed" and slotted into the
"doesn't work up to potential" (lazy) because I couldn't POSSIBLY be
hyperactive due to my gender!
