The customer has a choice of the factory warranty, whose cost
is entirely contained within the object's price, or the
60-month warranty whose additional cost is as low as $19.95
and is seperately listed on the receipt. The customer has a
choice of which warranty to purchase, but always pays
something for the warranty. It's never really free.
As always, I speak only for myself.
