I get the distinct impression (I'm sure you would agree) that Cooper
wishes DA autos would all just go away.
Cooper PERMITS students at his school to use this system. This IMPLIES
that he considers this an OK technique. At the least, this implies that
he does not consider it an unsafe or inappropriate technique.
So his students are going to leave Gunsite THINKING this is what they
were taught, no?
Mas Ayoob has pointed out that a good school should not only teach you,
it should stand behind you and stand behind what it teaches. If you are
an LFI graduate and you are forced to shoot someone, Ayoob will testify
in your behalf and defend the fact that your action was appropriate.
(Assuming it was a righteous shoot.)
If a Gunsite graduate uses this "shot-cock" technique on the street, and
his first shot hits a bystander, what is Cooper going to testify to?
Regards
John
