Have you looked at Moneydance (www.moneydance.com)? The latest version
released a week ago looks pretty good. It is written in Java and runs on
windows and linux. It supports online banking via OFX, QFX, and QIF.

I have grown tired of the many bugs in Quicken, as well as Intuit's forced
obsolescence, and have considered switching to Moneydance.
