Sorry it has been so long since you heard from me.  I have found a cheap
way to keep in touch with everyone.  Anyway, I  just thought I would give you
an update.
I finally thought to contact the police in her jurisdiction.  They were
willing to send a deputy to her house and contact her for me.  They did so.
About a week later, I received my money back by mail.   I am a few hundred
dollars in the hole.  There is the money I spent preparing a room and cages
for the Ringnecks arrival.  Plus there were some other things done in
preparation of their arrival.  Barbara still has these Ringnecks.  All 36
of them.  This has put a nice hole in my finances.
So people, be aware that if you are having a problem with someone, try
contacting the police in THEIR jurisdiction.  Sometimes the police are
willing to help you resolve any issues.  The help of a uniform never hurts.
