| subject: | Re: White House e-mail scandal? |
From: "Bill Mattox"
I actually wrote to everyone from Klayman to Limbaugh early last year
suggesting that SOMEONE should try to get to the technical staff on issues
related to WhoDB under the theory that they tend to know much more about
the data than most anyone and are less likely to be politically corrupt. I
never got a response from any of them, but it is interesting that it turns
out that the technical staff were the ones who apparently knew of issues
related to the e-mail system and were even threatened in order to keep that
knowledge under wraps.
Personally, what I suspect in THIS incident is that the "error"
was no such thing, and that the e-mail system in question was intentionally
kept separate from the others in order to communicate sensitive information
amongst themselves, which would explain why the 100K+ messages ran the
gamut from Al Gore's fundraising at the Buddhist temple to Monica Lewinsky.
Now, it seems, the DOJ is "investigating", meaning there is once
again the standard administration cover-up MO in play that will be used to
thwart Judicial Watch and Congressional inquiries. (surprise, surprise.)
