HI Teresa,
Did that other block make it to you yet? I sure hope so.. I mailed it the day
after I mailed the first one out. It was much better than the first one
IMHO.

Wow! It sounds as though you are going to have loads of fun with your new
serger! I know I would be lost anymore without mine... and the one I have
now is my second one! I sort of wore the first one out ... I never thought
that I would fall in love with a serger the way I did! Now I would not be
with out one for my sewing needs and wants.
I have not taken any classes on using my serger, but I have a "fair" viedo
that came with it that explains many of these techniques... and so I have
played with a few of them... I also use it from time to time for making
quilt blocks... I believe some here have received blocks I did on the
serger... I really like the finished look of blocks done on the serger... and
yes, the stitches can be adjusted so that they give a good solid stitch to
a quilt block.

The top for your neighbor's ggd sounds wonderful!!! I have some fabric here I
put aside to make my self a summer dress but I just have not gotten around to
it yet... and the summer will be over if I don't get on the ball and make it
soon! I just need to get some more energy first so that I can complete this
project.
I just have so many things craft wise and sewing wise going all
at the same time all the time. It does make it hard to get to the necessity
sewing though ...
Right now I am diligently trying to organized all my fabrics and such. I am
finding this to be a bit of a challenge! Something I had not expected... but
I want to utilize every inch of this space as best as possible..
Which reminds me I need to get off the puter and get back over there and do
my thing!
