Yes I did dat too. Starting in november 1985 with a TelTron V21/V23
modem on an Acorn BBC B computer, dialing by hand some HCC Fido BBSes,
e.g. HCC Fido Arnhem, HCC Fido Ede (Henk Wevers), HCC Fido Apeldoorn,
HCC Fido Nijmegen etc. Mostly local BBSses in Gelderland.nl
In december 1985 I bought a TelTron 1200 PC modem V21/V23 with 1200/1200
InterSpeeder and Hayes commands. Lateron upgraded with a V22 1200/1200 board.

In 1990 I switched over from BBSuser to run a 24h Node myself UniCornBBS,
First only AcoNet, lateron also TotaalNet and FidoNet.
You know it is still running today.

That too.
But I hated Videotext, I loved scrolling texts much more.
So I became a busy BBS user and got high phone bills.
