I know my Vet does. I don't use the brand she sells, and she is fine with
that. My Macaw gets a LOT of other stuff, which she really does not agree
with, but she never makes a big deal out of it. As he is getting older he is
eating less of the pellets I have noticed. I can understand why he would
want variety, I would not want to eat steak every day no matter how good it
is. We leave some Zupreem all the time, and then offer treats, seed mix made
for Macaws, nut's and fruit. It seems to work as he has gained a lot of
weight, but does not seem to be "fat". Every time I take him to be checked
the vet comments on how great a shape he is in.
