Can I come in here Roy,
On Thursday, 19 September 1996 at 15:32:00 -
Roy McCaffery contacted Carol Amos, thus attracting the following share
from me on the subject of: Geography
>> Hi Roy - I was in Rochester for a few occasions back in the
>> '60s. I have lived in Washington State for the past 25 years and
>> really like it here. I have lived for short periods in various
>> locals (grew up in Connecticut, school in Boston) and overall I have
>> enjoyed living here and getting sober in the AA fellowship with the
>> help of the steps and the Big Book - have l6 years now. Hope to hear
>> from you, Carol.
RM> One of the things I enjoy most about SIP-AA is the fact that I
RM> get to meet friends from all over the country and the world. It
RM> gives a much broader scope to the ESH that is important to all of
RM> us in recovery.
How right you are - I've really enjoyed your messages, both of you, there
is sometimes in the rooms here in Hull a tendency to forget that we now
live in the solution, not the problem. You have given a real message of
ESH and in receiving it, I am made to feel my own recovery - thanks.
RM> Thanks to the program in all its aspects I am 11+ years sober
RM> and can enjoy all of this. Miracles happen even to an old drunk
RM> like me.
I'm still only 1+, but the 'drunk like me' bit I can identify with
Thanks for being there for me...
