I think someone's confused here.
My dad uses AOL. He uses MS IE 3.0. Whether that's the "real" version or
AOL's, I don't know.
I don't have AOL and never have. Now I use a county Ed dept ISP but have used
ATT WorldNet in the past. I have MS IE 3.0 as well.
MS IE 3.0 works. That's what my ISP recommends, and what AT&T gave us about 6
months ago.
The problem turned out to be a modem problem. My dad's neighbor helped by
swapping out a modem. (Dad's neighbor collects hardware, and had a bunch of
33.6 modems. The man builds systems for companies he consults for.) When the
other modem worked, they knew it was a modem problem.
