Sounds like you're using Win95 Display drivers on a Win98 machine, you
MIGHT be using a wrong driver for a generic family chipset of specific
vendor components (Diamond Stealth 3D2000 instead of 3D2000XL, etc...)
or you might have a slight bug with DirectX drivers...Switch Drvs and
see...
