JSC REQUIREMENTS FOR JOURNALIST ACCREDITATION ANNOUNCED

Journalists wishing to cover events at Johnson Space Center are
reminded of standard badging requirements. 

Journalists who are U.S. citizens should fax on their organization's
letterhead a request for accreditation at least a day in advance of
their planned visit to the JSC public affairs office,
(281) 483-2000. They will be required to show a photo ID when they
pick up their badges.

Foreign national media representatives, including those who are
permanent resident aliens, must submit requests for accreditation two
weeks in advance. Foreign nationals, including media members who are
permanent resident aliens, must submit their full name; date of
birth; place of birth; citizenship; sex, passport country of issue,
number, and expiration date; visa number and expiration date; alien
registration number and expiration date; employer and employer's
location, and Social Security number if applicable. Photo ID is
required at the JSC gate.
