JP :>Buddy hold her and I got on - carefully. She stood
JP :>perfectly still but started to shake (tremble) ..... I
JP :>cooed to her and rubbed her on her withers while Buddy
JP :>cooed at her head. I didn't do anything else but just sit
JP :>there -- then I got off .... she still stood perfectly
JP :>still while I took off her bridle and put her halter back
JP :>on.
Poor Patti! Sounds as if she's scared to death! What happened to her?
JP :>Nice thing about PATTI ..... she'll stand perfectly still
JP :>while you take off her halter, drop it to the ground and
JP :>there she stands "naked" until you slip her bridle on - she
JP :>never moves a muscle ...... same way from bridle to halter.
JP :>Guess I must have done something right with her .
Don't you just love a horse that will do that! Fiddle will do it as long as
you don't leave her...if you do, she'll try to follow (g).
JP :>PATTI certainly has come a long way .... it's taken a long
JP :>time but I honestly think she trusts me now -- we are
JP :>definately bonding and becoming comfortable with each
JP :>other. Makes me really feel good ...
It should! Another one of "Jean's Miracles"!
