Hi all,
I have an idea, and want to know if anyone here knows how to
accomplish it. I have a DOS computer on my network via TCP/IP. I want
to setup a telnet node on the DOS machine. I can handle getting the
incoming telnet session being redirected to the DOS computer, but
that's as far as it goes. The DOS computer has no idea what to do with
it, since nothing is installed on that machien to handle telnet
sessions. I'd like to do something like the VModem or NetModem/32 idea,
but inder DOS.
Does anyone know of a DOS TSR that'll give a virtual modem (FOSSSIL
or ComPort Emulation) for my DOS based BBS and translate incoming telnet
sessions to the BBS software as a virtual modem connection?
Thanks!
-Steve
