-> Then, the do-nothings/know-nothings popped out of the woodwork and voted
-> against a budget so the Board would "get the message".
->
Yep, the worst are the senior citizens who would probably get most of that
money back anyways through tax credits. They tend to forget that at one time
people paid money to educate their children, yet when it is time to repay
hat
gift, they are unwilling to do so.
-> I really pissed that crowd off at a meeting when I said that the only
-> message I got was that they were terminally ignorant.
->
-> "Spouting" about schools is easy for those who have no stake in it. Most
are
-> clueless as to what is really going on.
The school district I live in just voted down a bond proposal, which would
have
upgraded the technology in the schools in order to teach the children the
things they will need to know into the 21st century. The worst part is that
in
the proposal, every single dollar has to be accounted for. None of the money
was to go to the administration or teachers, yet when polled most of those
who voted against it stated that they didn't want the administrators to get
more money. They Completely ignored the fact that none of the money was to
go to administrators or staff.
