Fire was on the 800 system right from the start.  They, like PD Central,
continued to use the old VHF freq for dispatch, because they continue
to use the old 'alert pagers' in the stations.  They also had problems
getting clearance for their relay tower, since they ARE placed at the
edge of Montgomery Field.  Even now, it's obvious the tower is shorter
than planned.
