i dunno... multiple desktops means one thing to me and multiple screens is
no more than multiple windows... i had an add-on for OS/2 called 9lives
that gave it multiple desktops and each desktop had multiple
screens/windows... later on i found one for w98 but it didn't work reliably
and caused problems... all of my *nix workstation installations have had
KDE on them and it defaults to 4 desktops... one of my current ones is
configured with six desktops and changing between each of them is like
rolling a cube around to the one you want ;)
