I read Martin's reply to you about treatment centres, and his other
suggestions. All are good ideas and try to follow up on them. Leave a
message any time (for any of us) and we will do what we can to help.
One thing to mention, alcohol problems can cause people to do things
that do not make sense to those who do not have these problems. When I
drank, anyone who confronted me about my drinking, I ran from them as
fast as I could. I didn't want to hear it. Until I was ready, there was
nothing anyone could do to help. Please understand that in trying to
help your friend, they may not want it. No matter how bad things are,
they may not listen until they too are ready. Be patient if you can and
let us know how you are making out.
Regards:
Don H.
