Just in case no one's answered this yet --
  
I suspect you used the drawing feature of Word to create your box.  There are 
ways to make the box go with the text, but they're not 100% reliable in new 
documents, as you've discovered.  
  
What I'd suggest would be to use the Paragraph Borders and Shading command to 
put a box around the selected text.  That way the box will be intrinsic to 
the text, and will resize as you add or delete text. 
  
If you want to get fancy, you can then put said paragraphs into a Frame, and 
set it up so it's always at the bottom of the page.
