I disagree. This coming year I will lay it most at the feet of those
who vote for Dole and the Republican party. Who claim that voting for a
gun grabbing, anti-Constitution, big government party hack is better
then voting for a candidate they truly believe in.
Look, if I don't compromise, but everyone around me does, regardless of
the reason, then the fault is 110% theirs, not mine. I didn't
compromise, they did, and compromised me in the process. I don't hold
the victim responsible in a rape case, and I don't hold myself
responsible with others rape me or my rights.
And that is the reason I will vote the way I will come this election.
I'm tired of compromising myself, my values, my rights, my beliefs, all
in the name if getting something horrible, but less bad then the other
guy. It has gradually occurred to me that when I vote for garbage, I
get garbage.
It's much like dining out. I've noticed that every time I've ordered
something off the menu I don't like, I get to eat something I don't
like. And pay for a meal I didn't like when I'm done. So I order meals
I like these days. I think I'll vote that way now too.
PN> Bullshit. No more compromises.
So vote libertarian.
You'll lose, for now, but at least that way you stop compromising
yourself and your convictions.
