Some of the radical anti abortion wackos have demonstrated the importance
of this principle. Where the democratically organized system refuses to
submit to their personal political/religious agenda, they shoot them or
blow them up. Then there are other political malcontents like McVeigh who
resorted to blowing up a federal building, killing all sorts of office
workers and children in some sort of perverse attempt to strike at the
heart of the government. Personally, I like the idea of some sort of well
organized militia to stand up for the rights of the citizens. It's much
better than being subjected to the whims of sociopaths.
