That's not the case with Windows Desktop Search.  I installed PDF, ZIP, and
CHM ifilters and WDS happily indexed files of those types (along with the
defaults).

No need for a toobar, I access it via the tray icon.

The interface doesn't feel as nimble as that of Copernic Desktop Search,
but I don't notice any difference in response to a query.
