PN> NP> Actually, they may not be within their rights. Here in
PN>Maryland,
PN> Their store, their property, therefore their right to conduct
PN>business in any manner they choose, other than anything that would
PN>be illegal. I support that.
Myself to, pretty much. If a store wants to have all transactions
supervised by a dancing Holstein in a purple tutu, that's fine with me.
And I can refuse to shop there. Of course, with my predication towards
cattle and tutu's... I digress .
But if you as a business try to tell me that we have to have the dancing
cow to conduct business, or that you have to have me fill out all these
forms, especially if you give me a song and dance about "someone"
requiring it, I'll push back. Don't try to tell me we have to have cows
in the store, or that I have to give you personal information to make a
purchase. Oh it may be your own store policy, but that's all it is,
your own. Not "required".
PN> But I'm not a "go along to get along" kinda guy. If the service is
PN> terrible I bitch. If the service is above expectation I compliment.
PN> If I don't get what I pay for, or if a business does something or
PN>has a policy that I believe to be inappropriate I let them know what
PN>I think.
Are you saying you don't have a problem with a store requiring extensive
personal information prior to selling ammo? For it seems to me that you
are being pretty "go along to get along" when it comes to purchasing
ammo.
