e. Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents
f. In the right pane, right-click OOBETimer, and then click Modify.
g. Change any digit of the value of the OOBETimer registry entry, and
then click OK.
Note This step deactivates Windows.
that's from the kb article, upon reading it I realized how easy it would be
to create a .reg file to deactivate windows. All you have to do then is
name it blond.reg, spam the planet an with the number of people who click
on anything in email microsoft's activation servers will be in melt down
mode...
