Hi Jeff,  Thanks for the input.  I have tried wiggling the band switch and a 
whole lot of other things.  The meter goes dead.  When it recieves, it is 
great, when it is dead it's dead.  Haven't been able to get it to receive 
again since the last time I keyed it up to check output.  It does transmit.  
I have been out of town on buisness, haven't had a chance to hook up the 
frequency counter yet.
