GA>There should be a .fa and .na file in the info file, but the network is more
GA>like dead right now as I trying to get it up running again.
GA>If you have a ZyXEL modem or router is there this network of ZYXELNET there
GA>has fine running again after some years it was down.
The only modem I have is a US Robotics 56K v.90 external fax modem.
However, it's not feasible...economically or otherwise...to have dial-up
BBS access.
Several years ago, construction crews working at the apartment complex
where I live, sliced through underground cables like a knife through
butter...even though they were CLEARLY MARKED.
To make matters worse, they left the holes open, and it poured rain
that night, flooding the cables. The resulting line noise made it
extremely difficult for a voice conversation, and impossible for modem
data.
In short, I can't see paying $50 a month for a line that'll have no
good connections.
