Dear all sysops Fidonet !
Please attention to this Bug.
This Bug is present in the all release firmware for Elite 2864 and Omni
288S (also 1.16).
Zyxel know this problem and work on it.
One particolar thanks to Paolo Rosa sysop Fidonet of 2:334/501 for your 
patience !!
Problem :
Much Fidonet system setting your Zyxel modem with
AT#B1+FCLASS=6 final   (see manual Zyxel for detail about Frontdoor and
Binkley mailer and fax configuration)

With this initialing string is possible have modem Zyxel locked after
hangup from 14400/V42b connection.The modem that make the problem are VFC
only or V32bis only.
With U1496 series the problem not exist.
AFTER hangup the modem Elite or Omni is locked with :
v34 off
v32 off
aa off
cd on
dtr on
dsr on
rts on
cts on
tx  off
rx  off
ec on
sq off
fax  on or off
Any command not have effect.
Only system is ON/OFF modem for returned normally situation.

If in the initialing string not compare the command #B1 the modem Zyxel
work fine and the locked after V32b hangup not exist.
