Depends on how you define "conquered". In the case of China, on more than
one occasion one "religion" (under the auspices of the ruling class) would
supress another, but I wouldn't say the supressed religion was ever
"conquered". What I find interesting about Asian religions (particularly
Budddhism, Daoism and Shintoism) is that an individual can "believe" in
aspects of each and nobody seems to get too bothered by it.
