I was a TA at NYU, an instructor at Brooklyn College in NYC and at Yale, and
am now a professor at the University of Massachusetts. I certainly have had
students fall asleep, but if they were drunk, I didn't realize it. Our
campus has an alcohol problem, but not during class hours as far as I can
tell.
