Hello All!
I thought you might want to know that today we celebrated dicovery of gold
iun the Klondike. George Washington Carmack, Skookum Jim and Dawson
Charlie discovered the mother lode in Rabbit Creek (now Bonanza Creek) on
August 16, 1896 and recorded the claim the following day. However, it took
almost a year for the news to get "outside" and the rest is
history.
