subject: New SYS volume

Hi Frank!
We recently got a new 4.10 server at work with multiple drives. The
[ahem] CNE that installed it enabled compression on the SYS: volume.
Unfortunately for our purposes having compression on THAT volume is not good.
I turned off the nightly compression at the server prompt. What I want is a
SYS volume withOUT the compression, period. Can I load INSTALL, dismount and
rename the SYS: volume and create another? Backups are done with a belt and
suspenders approach, but I was wondering if I could simply transfer all the
user and rights from the old volume to a new one. Thanx in advance.
                                                  Tom Ruddy
