Hi,

computer: IBM thinkPad R52 with IBM_s usb mouse

installed Win XP SP2 (SysPrep image - fairly simple) and connected mouse
(not when installing).
When trying to reboot, standby, hibernate, shutdown, logoff i get blank
light-blue screen with nothing - need to forcefuly shutdown on button. No
errors I can find in any log.

The only thing that works, for now, is to unplug the usb device, then try
shutdown, reboot, standby, ...

+ there is not only an ibm usb mouse issue, there is an usb devices issue :)
Also, same thing is going on when usb device is connected to laptops docking station.

If someone has an idea .. I'll try syspreping with usb mouse connected,
still, tried to reinstall usb, used another drivers, installed even mouse
driver, no errors - nice no shutdown future :)
