PK> YEA TAMI!! Congrats!!
TC> Thanks, I get the feeling I bit off a BIG chunk.
PK> That is how I felt when I took over Crafting, but the echos basically
PK> run themselves. Once in a great while you get a trouble-maker in the
PK> echo. Take care of them and things run smoothly again!
Heh, I have a BIG spanking stick right here beside my puter. :)
PK> I do my own clothing some. Used to do more of it. I
PK> recently made a skirt
PK> and need to make a couple of more dresses for myself.
That bargello one? It sounded beautiful!
PK> me and the new me is several inches smaller around the waist! :) So, I
PK> don't want to me making clothes that won't fit me when
PK> I am done with them.
WOOO! Way to go Pat! Mine are changing too, unfortunately the other way :(
I am starting on new diabetes control meds and am having a DEVIL of a time
controlling my weight! I swear, I do not eat any more than I did before,
actually am eating less, but they are just steadily chunking on the weight
for me :(
PK> I would love to make some of the pieced vests. These
PK> are sort of quilted,
PK> but unless you do a jacket you really aren't quilting it. I also want
o
PK> make a doll. One of the soft sculpture ones. Just
I checked out a book at the library last month.. It was paper pieced vests.
I dont understand paper piecing :( I am hoping now that the kids are both
going to school full time and my dad is on an upswing, that I may be able to
take a few classes, who knows. I am also considering night school to go back
for nursing. I wanted to do that before, but my counselor really pushed
Computers on me (I have a few weight lifting restrictions), I wish I had not
listened. There is such a need for nurses with special diabetes training and
not too much lifting is required for that.
PK> Or a soda pop?
TC> Soda Pop will do just fine, in this heat, WHO NEEDS COFFEE! :)
PK> I drink sodas all year round. Don't care for coffee.
PK> Just color me weird!
What color is weird? I would really like to know. :>
I am starting a new project tonite. I am making pieced ties. I bought some
fabric at WalMart for my boys. I am using two tones of blue and gold. Then
leaving a space on the GOLD (which is a solid fabric) for TBS class of 04. :)
Hoping that the other students will see him and want to buy them. I figure
they ALL have to wear them on Wednesdays, so why not wear SCHOOL colors? ANd
a decent tie runs about $12, so if I sell mine for $7.50, it will be a deal
