JP> BAHAHAHAHA !!! Poor guy !!! There are support groups. 350 horse
 JP> 350 in a 63 ?? I remember the 375 horse 327 but not the 350.
I traded a broken 51 Triumph 650 MC for a broken 67, 350. All it had was a
spun rod bearing. When I opened it up, it had that AND it had already been
sleeved in #2. It was only 3 years old. I put a crank kit in it, pulled the
cam and put in the 327, 350 hp cam and new lifters and the other stuff in the
sprocket and chain catagory. Bought some rebuilt 1.94 double camel hump
heads, took em apart and ported the crap out of them. Put a high-rise
manifold and Holley 750 double pumper on it.
Oh, and I used an old Corvette dual point distributor that I had been
dragging around the country for the previous 5 or 6 years. BTW, 67 rod bolts
were 5/16, wereas 68 and up are 3/8...I had two rods with 3/8s bolts on the
number one/two crank throw, the rest were 5/16s. It must have balanced it
out pretty good as it revved quick and sounded real chirpy. And it would rev
to 6200 with the hydraulics with out a sweat.
After that, I went through the rear end, replaced everything but the housing
when I broke it..Put all new joints in the half-shafts and drive shaft.
Replaced the 63 4speed with an M21 Muncie. Went through 5 clutch combo's
before getting one to last a weekend at the drags...
RW>> P.S. No SB Mustang ever beat my Vette...13.1's off the
 RW>> street.
 JP> BE the man.
It was kewl...
... I'm Han Solo, Captain of the Millinium Falcon.
