I repeated the joke in case anyone missed it.
-> Now for the truck story. It seems there was this visiting Texas
-> rancher that was having a conversation with a now successful farmer
-> who had managed to put together a rather large farm. This rancher
-> was trying to get the farmer to visualize just how large his ranch
-> was. So he said "In the morning when the sun comes up, I can get in
-> my pickup truck and drive in one direction all day. When the sun
-> sets, I still won't have reached the end of my property."
-> To which the Saskachewan farmer said "I know what you mean. I had a
-> truck like that once."
Bill, I have a car like that today. You can drive that old clunker as
fast as it will go and you will NOT get out of Texas in one day.
Unless you drive south for about ten minutes and start speaking Spanish.
My Aeronca was the same way. You couldn't get that sucker off the
Brownsville Sectional in one day without flying south. (Or getting wet!)
Great story.  We appreciates it!
