Are you actually sure that "all the stuff" removed by spybot etc
requires only user privilege to infect the computer (not administrator)?

On reflection, I really doubt that. I've only seen worms etc infect managed
computers, where the user was a USER only. The malware was exploiting an
unpatched system bug. The spyware infected machines I've seen were typical
home computers where the user is an admin.

OTOH I lead a pretty sheltered life, and welcome comment from others.
