Greetings, Ford!
On 26 Apr 98, Ford Tolbert entered the following ASCII codes for the
express viewing pleasure of Wr Michelson:
FT> was flying co-pilot
FT> on a B-29
So you have B-29 time! How many hours did you put in?
FT> It scares me to look back at the stupid
FT> things we did back then.
Have any other stories you would like to share? Or have they all been dumped
in the "I rather not have anyone know about that" bin?
Back in the days when I hung around the airport, I had occasion to chat with
a part time instuctor that flew Lancasters in the the war (You know, WWII -
it was in all the papers). He would comment from time to time that he should
have been dead, based on all the stupid things he and other pilots would do
now and then.
