I understand about the LD. I think that's what helped kill BIN. Colorado
wasn't exactly an inexpensive call. There *used* to be companies that
would (for a fee) let you dial in locally and use their service to
access other LD bbses without the phone charges. I tried one, and it DID
make a difference in my phone bill, but they were slower than my modem
speed, so it took longer to do mail, etc. I quit and went back to paying
more for faster speed and direct calls...
