Tom, they have a couple of sets of discontinued amplified
speakers at the El Cajon Blvd / 63rd St. store. They're only
about $15/pair, & were about $60/pair beforehand. Of course,
I get nothing from that sale, but they are dirt cheap. Don't
forget to get a mono/stereo adapter, though, as these are
stereo speakers.
TW> As far as RS sale prices, I know that. I recently picked up a PRO-60

Some of the stuff we put on sale is really discounted. One of
the hidden discounts we have is our battery discount. Any
battery pack is discounted 10% when paid for on a Radio Shack
account, and there are quantity discounts of up to 30% for
bulk purchases, as well. Usually, I don't have time to talk
in-depth about batteries to each customer, so it's something
that gets overlooked.
As always, I speak for myself, not for Mr. Radio -OR- Mr. Shack.
